What would I be doing?

As a Graduate Event Sales and Marketing Consultant, daily tasks will include:

  • Building profitable business relationships with US-based executives
  • Proactively sourcing new business relationships with executives around the US
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with these clients to ensure their long-term business
  • Communicating over the phone and via email, as well as face-to-face
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the digital events sphere to enhance product knowledge

This client is looking for a hungry, energetic sales professional that has the drive to make a career in B2B sales and digital events. A confident communicator that’s just as comfortable presenting in person as you are speaking over the phone, you’ll relish the challenge of selling to influential executives and use your infectious attitude and people skills to help maintain these relationships for repeat business. A savvy marketer, you’ll be tech savvy and digitally proficient. Meanwhile, you’ll also be eager to expand on your existing knowledge in order to grow as a professional and work your way up the ladder.

As you’ll be conducting business with US-based clientele, you'll also be required to work US hours that warrant a later start to your day and a later finish, typically spanning shifts from midday to 20:00.

 

What qualifications and experience do I need?

This employer is ideally looking for a candidate with previous sales experience; however, with lots of coaching and support, this isn’t essential provided you are ambitious and eager to learn.
